Big news!

How is everyone doing?

So I have big news! I can't share with you yet because I want to tell you over the phone first. You'll find out soon! [We learned she finally received her three-month out bound mission call! She's going to the San Jose, California Mission!!! We're very happy for her!]

Today P-day started out with a fire in the kitchen. Yup. Sister Dechesne was cooking bacon and somehow oil dripped down in the stove and caught fire. The fire was quickly getting bigger. So I soaked a cloth and threw it over the stove. Ahh. It was scary. But all is well! The fire department didn't have to come or anything. :)

After that we went rushing around town to accomplish our errands. We only had two hours! First we went grocery shopping, of course, and then some sisters wanted to go to Korean market, which was on the other side of the city. It was quite a feat to do all that in two hours but we did! P-day is always so busy!

Sister Dechesne and I took a lot of French tours this week. Usually Europeans aren't too open about the gospel, but the people we took were quite nice. Sister Dechesne says the Lord is merciful to her and sends her the kind Europeans. We took this super sweet family, a husband and wife and their three children. Family is super important to them and they were very interested in what we had to say throughout the whole tour. They were so close to referring in the end, but they changed their minds. They did take a French Book of Mormon though! It's kind of sad because we'll never know what will happen--in this life at least. But we'll leave it in God's hands.

I got to see Tammy and Eric this week! It was so good to see some familiar faces. I had no idea Eric was engaged! When he told me I thought he was kidding! No idea. I'm so happy for him!

I'm excited to see Kristine, Kirk, Madelyn, Caleb, and Julie this week!! Woo-hoo!!

Sorry it was short this week! I love you all very much!

xoxoxo,
Sister Butler
