What's Your Story?

At one of our dinners! It was a beautiful California evening!

At the why I believe Fireside
On exchanges!

Hello!

It's been another crazy-busy week. It sounds like you've had a busy one too! God bless Brother Sanders! I remember always seeing him with a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. Heaven just got someone very special.

Angela is going off to college this week!?! It doesn't seem right! She's not old enough! Last time I checked she was 17! Jk. Well Mom and Dad, 4 gone, 7 more to go. You're practically empty-nesters! ðŸ˜‰

This past week we went on exchanges! I went with a Spanish sister who is originally from Costa Rica, but she's lived most of her life in St. George. When she was growing up she attended a school in Costa Rica that taught English. At some point her teacher told her mom that she will never learn English and that she's hopeless basically! Her mom decided to take her to America so she could be completely immersed in the English language. Today, you would never guess that English is her second lanuguage! I share this story because there are a lot of people who will say something is impossible, but it's only impossible if you think it's impossible. So think positively!

Yesterday before church started, a guy showed up at the church in street clothes wanting to attend. Someone told us about him and we found him and started talking. He was meeting with missionaries 5 weeks ago but the missionaries stopped because he wasn't keeping commitments. He found his way to the church and has been attending different wards over the past weeks. He stayed for all three hours of church which was amazing. That night there just so happened to be a great fireside going on called "Why I Believe". It's about converts of the church sharing their conversion stories. We invited him to go and after a lot of complications of trying to find a ride to the church and back home, it worked out! He really enjoyed the fireside and wanted to know when the next one was right after. Unfortunately he isn't in our area, but we're helping him reconnect with his missionaries.

I have an invitation for anyone who wants to have an awesome memorabilia to pass down for generations. Write down your own conversion story of restored the gospel of Jesus Christ! I promise it will be a special experience writing down why you know what you know. Feel free to email it to me!!!!

I'm sorry, but that's it for today! I love you all!
xoxox,
Sister Butler
