Another Week in the Beautiful West!

Hi!

This past week was really awesome! We felt like we were able to work
hard and see success, though some of it wasn't directly through our
efforts. I've been continually reminded that as we put our best effort
forward the Lord will help us achieve our goals in some special way.
We invited some members to come out with us and each time they brought
up a friend they were working to share the gospel with. Then another
member brought a friend to church yesterday and we have an appointment
today. She is a hairdresser and is actually from Korea. There is a
member in our ward who is Korean so it is a great fellowshipping
opportunity!

So a couple days ago we went to eat at a Mexican restaurant for
dinner. I don't think I have had authentic Mexican food until now
because it was SO good. I've been asking all around for sisters who
know how to cook REAL Mexican food so I can bring that skill home and
share it with all of you! So far no luck. :/

It sounds like you had a blast this 4th of July! The lake house looks
amazing and so fun.

To tell you a little bit about what I did today, we went on a hike
with our zone (so beautiful and the weather was perfect!). I took a
lot of pics so I'll send them on.

Each day I feel like the fire of the gospel is building within me. It
feels so good to share it with others even if they reject it. The Lord
really blesses us as we try to share.  Look for some way you can share
the gospel this week. Pray for an opportunity because I know he'll
give you one. I remember hearing that when going to church or
firesides and I always thought, "Yes, I believe he can provide those
opportunities, but I'm afraid of what to say or how to approach it
when talking to people." I have learned that it doesn't have to be a
huge deal or complicated. It could be your simple testimony about how
the gospel has blessed your family if someone stops you at the store
and comments about noticing something different about you. Or whatever
it may be. The gospel is simple.

Sorry for the short letter today. We've been going all day with
activities and shopping etc. You will all be in my prayers! Love you!
